Rich Academic History
The Abington campus was originally developed in the early twentieth century as a private all girls school. In 1950 all of the assets were donated to the Pennsylvania State University and ever since has been transformed into one of the top Penn State satellites. Today the campus is home to 160 baccalaureate programs that can all be started at Abington and finished at any other campus including University Park.
